In CA. stores, they charge you .05c per can as the CRV fee. However, when you take them back to the recycler, they give you no where near that amount. ...

That is happening a lot here in Canada....
Unless you launder your cloth bag after each for paper, 5c per plastic bag and donate it all to a local charity.
Secondly, plastic bags are recyclable.

There's a bunch of cities in the west that have banned plastic bags.
I'll just save all my plastic bags and reuse them.

Symbol trumps Substance: banning plastic store bags and forcing the use of reusables may be dangerous, shift and increase plastic usage, but plastic store bags are evil.

In Oregon, they have banned the use of plastic bags from Grocery stores, but you can still use plastic bags to pick up your dog's poop.

I use them for a lot of things reusable bags....
Plus, those plastic bags come in handy.
Just for that, I'm taking all my saved plastic bags I don't have it on me.
Or take ur loose groceries to the car without a bag.
