It makes it very hard to buy some vegetables/fruits without the small bags and the plastic bag fee is too these wrapped in before plastic bags existed? I think the revenue case was that the bags given....

I hate plastic bags! I just need somewhere to let out my hatred for plastic bags! I cant stand them and cant seem to get away from them! Ive been travelling in Eastern Europe for a while now and it feels like everywhere I go I have plastic bags forced...

plastic bags as a security thing don't they - shove the fruit in the bag and then price it, presumably it to me, and the proceed to toss away the bag! Re: I hate plastic bags! Supermarkets in the UK plastic....

Same in Sweden (but at about 20 cents per plastic bag or 40 for paper).
I think to myself that it would be a good idea to keep some plastic bags in my reusable shopping bag.

I shop at Publix and they put about 2 things in each bag.

Just wondering how widespeard this is. My city banned single use plastic bags on Jan. 1st of this year. If you go to a store you can purchase a paper bag for 10 cents but most people seem to bring their own reusable bag. It's been pretty easy to get in...

For the paper bag or use a plastic one for a non fruit/veggie/meat item and get caught they are fined a paper that says that if they do not charge for the paper bag or use a plastic one for a non fruit like the idea of not....

Hi, I've just purchase a (used) boat that has two 150 litre polyethylene fresh water bags (tanks). I recently filled them and the water tasted strongly of plastic. Has anyone else had this and found a lasting solution??
I'm sure that flushing them out...

Plastic that will work is a carbon filter.
Stainless steel, anodized aluminum, or even copper containers and store water in those .

My favorite use for my mon-stors - plastic bag storage! :D Haha! :) I made a pic of him on the stove to give you an idea how big my little Mon-stors are. :)

Within the past year or so, all too frequently I'll open a bag of chips, or cookies, etc. and the bag rips right down the side to the point that no twist tie or other fastener will hold it and I have to find something else to store the food in...WTF!!...

Seal is often so strong that pulling hard on the bags just rips straight through the body of the bag for this (and it's so entertaining when you threaten TSA minions with it, too).

Did 4 caches by the same setter all film pot size all in the biggest freezer bags they could find, you didn't need to look for the container you could see the bags from a distance! This is not the only setter doing this...

Using an outer plastic bag admits you know the container isn't waterproof...
The only bag I use on a cache is a camo one.
