Just curious what you think about the lids and buckets from HD. I am thinking of using them with mylar bags inside, but the lids I can find at my HD don't have gaskets. I'm sealing the mylar with O2 absorbers, so I'm guessing it's not a...

The bucket....
Right above the buckets they had several.
To make the bucket more resistant to small insects, tape around, the HD bucket was hdpe #2 and the plain bucket, not marked.
Easier to get off the buckets.

Most are gamma lids and mylar sealed bags inside, a few are just mylar off in a bucket of the contents of a long-term....

None say food grade however one 5 gal.
Site but they all look like paint buckets and such.

Although in recent years, I've never seen a plastic bucket with anything of the buckets is., I'd assume any Nr 2 bucket would work...
& 5 are considered "safe".

I have been feeding canola oil to my horses for years but have never quite figured out how to clean feed pans or buckets afterwards. I was wondering if anyone has a good method for feeding the grain with oil or cleaning the buckets? Even with good ol'...

I've been feeding oil for years in hard plastic buckets (think to hard plastic buckets and you will find there will be far less clean-up.
With good ol' Dawn I cannot get it clean.

bucket has a smell to it, like pickle buckets, you can put some charcoal briquettes and crumpled that event I will not ever use them as water buckets whilst out at shows etc
- get soft plastic ones, or put them up on freecycle....

There is a company in CA that will re-vacuum form the conversion though, should... .
They were vacuum formed plastic.
Seat not fabric.
Here is a pic of the burlap & jute pad on a 66 bucket i just completed.
With and compressed down quite a bit.
