I am looking for the plastic valve cover off of an H.O. 03-early 04 that still has the stickers on it for the HP and TQ rating on it. Would like to buy but also have an Edge ez that I would be willing to trade for valve cover and cash or another item ...

The whole valve cover so that I can "trick" the inspection station if they say somethin bout my deleted cat, since HO didnt have a cat put the HO valve cover on and say I blew the old Cali emissions.

My the shim types are a little....
If you're changing out the timing belt at 105k anyway, might as well replace the valve cover and spark plug hole seal gaskets and valve cover bolt grommets while in there, and check valve clearance too.

There's no sign of any they seat against the valve - well mine have them.
I have metal valve caps on my TP monitors and have'nt had any issues.
Sal broke the plastic check valve elbow while detailing our R2. Before we try and epoxy it, is there a NAPA replacement ?

I'm planing on painting my Valve cover tomorrow. I know typically a metal valve cover requires thermal paint because of the temperatures, since ours is plastic (05 mazda3) will any paint work? Any input on paint type would be a help.

Have the block valve auto close on overpressure and....
USE BOTH.
Put a check valve in there downstream of a block valve.
You will get reverse flow as soon as the block valve opens, if you don't line.

Could be out , can she send you a pic on her phone/email ? Just spoke her and she hasn't got a camera or one on her phone :/ charge her for going to suppliers then Just start the meter when you get there and go get the part needed, not sure what the weather... .
