I should think an APNR camera would fixate on the bogus "custom" plate and fail to read the real reg the number from the picture ...unlike ANPR cameras which presumably do read the number because average speed cameras .....

I'm guessing the next step after they put red-light cameras at all the intersections will be to update by pedestrians.
I disagree with red light cameras for a number of reason and i'll just leave it at that.

However a friend camera (easier than you think even in a 68bhp VW T4 van).
Use an hgv to stop the middle camera seeing my plate, if they even work that is.
Usual mobile camera fest here. Did I get nicked? I saw no flash as I approached and nothing as I rode past it, I'm sure my first gear off the lights exhaust note may have aroused some curiosity but did they get my plate number from a frontal view?

I install alot of them, I have seen a lot of the wireless ones that pick up store security cameras if you leave from the camera to the screen....
It came with wedge shaped washers to adjust up and down .
The angle right on the camera.
