Well I'm pleased to announce you that I finally succeed in implementing new anims in our favourite (tennis ) game !
It was hard but now I think I got it. Just remember that I'm not a professional and I do this for fun so don't be surprised...

Seriously, why is everyone complaining about "people don't want their models to change" or something, just add more polygons and high quality textures, then make the animations a bit smoother, it's still the same model but it just looks better.

Most of the custom classes I've made just slide around with their arms out. They do rotate, but legs and arms stay sticking out all the time. I am only using default models/skins that come with garrysmod.

When i read some of the "update old models" threads, it seems that alot of old schoolers are just happy with new textures. Even though some races, looking at human males in particular! has some really awfull animations.
What most ppl doesn't seem to realise...

Old races do need a new model with a higher polycount and more textures for a bit more, but the animations....

I personally don't mind the current animations.
Rendering power than higher-polygon models.
