When i hear a song id like to play that you were....
Id love to take a rip at this song,slide and vocals.
It took awhile to get to play as well.
On the slide playing, I didn't have a slide so I used a shot glass.

Can anyone recommend a beginners guide book to slide playing? Tried a slide out for the first time at the beginning of the week, now I'm hooked!

Got the intro to "In my time of dying" from Zep down pretty fast on the lap steel .
Currently playing Scar Tissue by RHCP with the slide in the solo - sounds pretty cool but hoping with slide in them and messed with it.

How would you set up an acoustic or electric guitar differently if the guitar is going to be mainly used for slide playing? Is it mainly by setting the action higher or would you leave it as is? Are dobros set up differently?

I have created a slide show and used the option to 'Create exe for Mac' It seems to have created a folder with a number of files within it.
Being a newbie to the Mac computer,I am confused. How do you transfer the Mac EXE...

I'm preparing for an Ignite talk and need to create a presentation in which each slide advances automatically after 15 seconds.
I'm using PowerPoint 2007 and there is a setting that supposedly does exactly this (Advance Slide Automatically After: ) but...

I'm using the anythingSlider by Chris Coyier.
Basically it makes list-items slide in from the left after a specified time.
I'd like to tweak the code, so that the first <li> is visible for twice as long as the others.
E.g. If the slides are visible...

I'm currently using the anythingSlider plugin, it works totally fine except when there is only one <li> .
The <li> s are generated from the database so sometimes there's only one.
However, the anythingSlider plugin still tries to slide through...

I saw Guthrie place a little thing under his strings (on the nut) to play slide on his "normal" guitar. Does anybody know what he uses or what could be used to alter string height "on the fly"
