Which non-tennis activity benefits your tennis?
I'm not sure if violin does, but everything involves my right arm getting stronger. If I'm at the tip of the bow, and are crossing strings starting from the e string to the g string, it sort of simulates that of a topspin shot. source
What perks you guys get playing college tennis?
YEah I was just curious for the school I go to, we dont get a dam thing, where I know of a couple schools that get stuff like shoes, strings, clothes and all. Probably because they are into tennis more then some. source
Sore hip from playing tennis, is it normal?
I just played tennis yesterday with my friend and my hips are feeling really sore today, I mostly used forehands. Either my technique is really messed up or I'm doing it right and this is a good sign, I have no idea. Anyone else have any experience with sore hips from tennis? source
What to do when playing tennis by yourself?
Trust me the hitting the wall is the best, cause you cant beat the wall. Put this way Feder is the wall and forsure you cant beat him since he would hit all your ball back. I love hitting the wall before getting into practice because you getting use to your stoke first and as for serving do the same thing but draw a net line on the wall and draw the court side on the ground. To me its get me pump up and get use to everything before getting ready. The wall teaches you the time to learn your stroke like if you want to learn topsin practice on the wall then learn how to control it same as to everything and just keep in mind how to hit a varietly of ball like high or low ball if you take the time to learn which is better than getting a pro to teach you. Its just the same thing as getting a pro teaching you cause he's the wall. Trust me if you take the time to do it than your'll get your own way of stlying of playing tennis. source
How many hours of Tennis do you play?
Actually playing tennis is like 7 billion times better than watching tennis on tv. If i get the oppurtunity to play tennis, i turn of the tv right away even if safin, federer, djokovic etc are playing. source
