Why is co2 polar? Or why is it polar? When i did the lewis dot structure or something, it seems pretty symmetrical to me.
But, my teqacher told me to determine polarity and non polarity by finding the difference of the electronegativity.
with 0 to .4 ...

However, since thie molecule has two electron groupsOk, the thing is, the Carbon to Oxygen BOND is polar (due to relatively high electronegative pairs of electrons.
So, the bonds are polar.
Of 0.89 in either bond.

"Bill Belichick hasn't won a Super Bowl since Spygate," former Giants wide receiver Amani Toomer said. "So if he doesn't win another Super Bowl, everyone one of his Super Bowls leading up to that are tainted. Just like Barry Bonds. Tainted."

Maybe they would've been if they didn't lose that Super Bowl just as Bonds being the Homerun champ was the kiss of death to old school baseball people a bunch of doubters as an underdog....
Think the Pats will be nearly as tainted as Bonds.

Hi everyone
I've bought a 808nm laser diode in 9mm package. It's said to emit 1W
at 1500mA. But strange is that there are only two pins behind it.
Do anyone know how to determine...

Look at the bonds inside with a strong magnifier and
view the laser chip connections.
Is ground.

CF4 is best described as having? 1. non-polar bonds and a net dipole moment
2.polar bond and a net dipole moment
3.polar bonds and no net dipole moment

However, the bonds are completely.
F is more electronegative than C, so the bond is polar.

Lepton Hi
I learned something in organic chem I didn't quite understand. Normally I understand that interaction between a Hydrogen (say from a water molecule) and a Nitrogen is a hydrogen bonding due to the high electronegativity of the nitrogen. However...

Which type of bond is stronger than the other - ionic or covalent?
Hello,
My book says that ionic bond is the strongest bond, but I really don't get it. If I compare an ionic compound like Aluminium Oxide(with large charges, hence large electrostatic...

I am specifically interested in why the bonds weaken after bonding to the catalyst far says is that molecules bind to....
And in doing so, the bonds the atoms are weakened thus lowering the required amount of kinetic energy required.
