And if so, how are you doing on them? I guess I didn't really make any official resolutions but I am hoping to work out more on the days I don't teach aerobics and then to get organized--mainly in my office AND to get back to scrapping and other crafting...

Today 7:00 a.m: Tamzin did 45:00 minutes exercise w/u and dynamic stretch (favouring concavities) on Swiss ball, hands on wallbars, stretch sides with long arms, double knee press on ball then extend BOTH legs (single leg stretch on right lumbar concavity... .
I have always been a keen walker but with the onset of PMR at 65 my walking has been seriously affected. Just before I was put onto the Pred I struggled to mange a few hundred yards. I have now been on Pred for about 4 months and back on a high dose again...

The aerobics part of the gym so we did hear some noise above us occasionally it wasnt the pole on the far side that side of the room tended to be quieter) and others were fairly close.
It seems likely that the best dryland (non rollerski) routine would be hill-bounding with poles. Sadly, we have no hill nearby worth bothering with. What are your favorite exercises outdoors off-snow, off-pavement? I just saw a nordic spoof video showing...

If you have some long staircase nearby, you can get creative on those .
Really dorky, but what about dragging a car tire with a rope attached to your belt, to get the resistance on the flat? I've been wanting to get a slider board for years .

You get to learn a ton of new, not including warmup and cooldown... .
It's not stripping - it's utilizing the pole as a fitness tool.
Also, I've taken pole fitness, which is also a ton of fun.
It before, but I hear it's a really good work out .
How are things going for you? I've had a frustrating week. I've always been pretty active but since the beginning of the year I've really stepped up my game. I've been doing purposeful workouts and even working out 2 times per day several days a week....
