i am applying for a skilled visa migration for myself and my wife will also be on the visa
Does anyone know if she has to have a police check also. She thinks she may have a caution from 30 plus years ago, would this show up.

Running background checks on officer I apologize if this is too off-topic, but can a police officer find out or know if I were to run a background check on them through a private service? I'm not in law enforcement or anything...

I guess if you can't take a police officer's word if the department sees ....
But police officers have to undergo very thorough background checks prior to being hired, and any check would be pretty useless...and unnecessary.
