Is there any reason to use full gut over gut/poly besides comfort? Won't there be a large spin difference for only a little comfort, power, and tension maintenance gain?

The hybrid takes of gut mains....
Might as well use poly/multi and save money.
And what if we add poly/gut into the mix? Many don't think poly/gut is worth it and I agree.
Of spin and uncontrollable power don't...
Wondering if you all could help me out. I want to see what all the hype is about RE Natural Gut. Figured I'd try the Bablolat VS 17 for no other reason than that I'm overwhelmed with options. I'm a upper 4.0 to low 4.5 player. Wanting to get better - ...

In the 60's at all, ( I only stock VS and Pacific's gut, and shortly will be stocking Wilson's gut? If I like 54 pounds on my full poly setup, what should I go to for gut tension? Again, I use the Bab-warehouse.com/....
I strung up my new Head extreme with pacific classic/B5E and went for its inaugural hit on green clay. The next day, the strings felt really stiff and the gut wouldn't snap back when I tried pulling a main string to the side, like the bed was locked in...

Hi, I'm new to natural gut and just bought a set of Boris Becker Hero natural gut off the bay. I was a little surprised to see it comes in 40 ft length. I thought it's hard to harvest natural gut for that long of a length, so I always assumed that they...

Hi guys, I usedd to play with Klip Legend Natural Gut 16 / Alu Power at 51/48, this combo its great, it was low powered, I could hit the ball so hard and it would land inside the court, my volleys where great, I could hit the ball at the net and hardly...

gut is suppose to be similar to the old VS gut before BT7, so it is suppose to be softer than the current VS.
Just strung up my Aero Storm Tour GT with the Babolat VS 16G (Black) in the mains with RPM Blast 17G in the cross, both at 54LBS. So far it feels pretty good. The natural gut just glides over the RPM crosses.... there isn't any force holding the mains...

I always strung natural gut in the crosses for that extra comfort and durability, but after reading how a lot of people benefited more when they put the natural gut in the mains, I gave it a try move around! Which was a HUGE....
I have been using X1 BiPhase 17 Red. I play 4.0 all court with a good bit of forehand topspin and moderate pace. I have been stringing at #62 on my Prince Hybrid Hornet. I like the strings best when they have frayed a bit. Usually the string pops before...

What is the reason for stringing gut at a higher tension than poly with natural gut, is perfectly fine.
With natural gut, is perfectly fine.
I find the BT VS to be fairly durable with the right poly cross. But I wouldn't mind trying the Wilson which I hear is still like pre-BT VS. I don't want to do it though if it's going to get cut up much faster by the cross. So my question for those of...

I have a question. Recently I strung my racquets with multifillament strings due to some shoulder problems. I selected Babolat Excel Power 15L. Excellent string with great power, very comfortable and decent spin. Loved it. The problem is that after 4 ...

OP, have you considered full natural gut? It could last you a good bit, especially if you getWhich Multi did you use? IMO there is no poly as comfortable on the arm as a Multi.
And durable.
Ive been reading up on the Jaycee stringing method and I was interested in their opinion that having thicker poly mains and thinner poly crosses gives the best performance due to the loss of tension (20-30%) on the cross strings due to friction. This ...

I use a gut/poly hybrid but have found a thinner cross works better.
Gut/Poly hybrid is ofcourse a very popular performance option.
Will also determine the overall feel and endurance.
