Do you ever make homemade popcorn in an air popper, a pot, a skillet, or a popping pot/pan designed speficically to pop popcorn? what do you use to cook it in, if you don't air-pop it? I detest air-popped popcorn but love popcorn popped both in a skillet...

Not that cooking popcorn....
In the microwave, pour a little on the popcorn, shake it up, pour the rest, add a little salt, shake it upI only get microwave popcorn but I will have to change that now that I like to cook more often.

I think Alton Brown also suggests grinding up the salt so it....
The seasoning won't stick to the popcorn without the butter.
Then I add kosher salt from a salt grinder while I toss.
I shake/toss the popcorn in the bowl.

If it's fresh popcorn then its gotta be sweet otherwise, toffee.
But when I buy popcorn in the cinema it's salted.
I rarely buy popcorn at cinema, instead I buy some cheese popcorn in a nearby store.

I love movie theatre popcorn.
We go to the movies ALOT.
Look on the theater websites theatre.
I would enter popcorn with butter & adjust the serving size.

Popcorn always seems to leave me less 10 yrs (and I'm not fat lol) Depends if you are trying to accomplish a goal.
Stick with nuts For the same serving size I'd say chips .
Just wanted to know what everybody likes to put on there popcorn, before sitting down to watch that new blu-ray release. I like my popcorn, hot air popped and drizzled with melted organic butter and sprinkled liberally with cayenne pepper.
