After living in a condo for my entire adult life, I've finally moved to a house with a big yard. I want to complete my suburban transformation by learning to barbecue, or as Stephen Fry put it, cooking meat in the garden.

Was wondering what all yu guys and gals used for seasoning for Pork Chops and Chicken when Barb-Q-ing.
We at our house use JONNY"S Seasoning and also wood chips from different woods too,,I'd Just like some different ideas on seasonings for this week ends...

Simply Marvelous is another one they have a Cherry rub which is excellent on pork ribs they also have Jerk Seasoning and make that at home....
I use.
I usually mix up my own rub.
With pork, a little goes a long way.
Or some Old Bay seasoning.

Chickens, 2 3to4 lb.

Just bought a pork shoulder blade roast (or butt roast) from the butcher's dept where I grocery shop. Thought I'd make some pulled pork in the crockpot which I have never done.
