Yeah...pulled pork is done much lower and much longer.
225F is generally a good? That is also something that people rush .
Some people like doing their pork barbecue really low.
To be in the 200-300F range.

I'm really starting to hate barbeque grills, every summer all it does is turn my tasty food into nice carbon sculptures. I put the heat on medium/low , load in my food and leave for a few minutes. Then either the wind will kick up or the fat dripping ...

Bill I guess I will have to try a gas barbecue some time, but in the meantiime, leave the grille alone! No cover, never let the meat out of your sight! I watched a guy barbecue or pork ribs! Chicken works both ways....

Having spent a fun day yesterday helping to butcher and cook a pig, I now have a fridge full of pork.
I can think of ways to deal with the raw stuff, but has anyone got good ideas for what to do with the cooked? I can't get any further than sandwiches...

I need some tips. I have only smoked a few boston butts and have not been really pleased with the results. They have been tender enough but the flavor inside (deep in the shoulder meat) is not that good and they are not that juicy. I usually use Strawberry...
