I know you can never get the full fidelity of listening to a great stereo system with remarkable headphones, but I was just wondering this and I hope you can share some of your opinions.
I know that portable CD players being manufactured and sold nowadays...

At this point I would avoid vintage top of the line portable Cd players: their is a lot of demand vintage....
And does the cable you use from iPod to CLAS come for the CD player.
For mp3 players such as iPods.

I have a Panasonic CD/FM/tape portable unit that sounds great but the controls are starting to get iffy is just plain....
Not sure if it will be loud enough to fill .
To an mp3 player (or a discman if you really must play CDs).

I've got lots of CD's that have been backed up to lossless AAC. This is the archive.
I have a few music players, most do AAC, all do MP3. Is there any physical reason why I should choose one format over another, when i convert down for portable listening...

Doesn't really matter.
When i convert down for portable listening? I will probably go for 320 MP3, or the equivalent in AAC.

I don't like the fact my car has a CD player, I'd much prefer MP3 support and having a CD slot and mp3 player plug are not mutually exclusive.

Have any of you made a mp3 cd disk on a dvd-r? I've made plenty on regular cd's, but it only holds 700mb... I heard you can use dvd-r that hold over 4gig to do the samething. I wondered if any of you guys tried it...

Or portable dvd players can read mp3, mpeg4 , jpeg images, avi, div x movies etc on a mixed data dvd, but it worked with the standard cd...

a message to the folks at Dream Player on how was optional.
The factory did not supply a tape, and the 8-track to pursue .
A custom 8-track from your CD or MP3's.
