I have a problem with my websphere portal set-up. When I log into my portal more than ones from the same browser ( one user per tab in firefox ) they seem to share the same session so if user A logs in first and then user B, user A disappears and...

Depending on how....
You can get around this problem by logging onto the portal under two separate domains = no shared state between sessions.
You appear browser.
I assume websphere portal has these options as well.
Running session state.

Hi,
Is there a way to enable language field on the portal login screen.?
This functionality is required to allow users to select the language at login page.

I try to login to portal with the same user and selected the language as "German" from the dropdown the language of the portal at login.

Using TFS 2010 and VS 2010, then I right-click on the project and select show portal it asks me to login. This should be happening automatically using windows authentication. Both the server and client are on the same windows domain.
Any ideas...??

Not server name) for your Project Portal URL? If so then you can try adding the URL to your local to the trusted sites or any other zone in IE We are using FQDN for the server in the Project Portal URL.

custom login page can be created and it can be used in your custom template by simply creating your own login class :o_w_s_l_LoginBackingBean instead of using the default one.

If you're under UNIX or GNU/Linux check whether you have a HTTP_PROXY environment variable .
Unless you specifically installed one, set it to being transparent and forgot about it .
If it's local it's very, very unlikely you have a proxy .
