I have a problem with my websphere portal set-up. When I log into my portal more than ones from the same browser ( one user per tab in firefox ) they seem to share the same session so if user A logs in first and then user B, user A disappears and...

Depending on how....
You can get around this problem by logging onto the portal under two separate domains = no shared state between sessions.
You appear browser.
I assume websphere portal has these options as well.
Running session state.

Thats true the other there is a bug with Portal....
I'm told Portal won't used more than 4 even though documented 6GB is recommended.
Account...while installing, portal asked me a login ID for connection to AD, for that I used domain.

Can't log into the portal/VMBU on my iPad, throwing me to plus.net/error.html (which wont load) or tells me username and password is incorrect.
Also as I am logged in on laptop, anything on plus.net domain won't load and hangs waiting for plus.net

Portal login doesn't seem much slower to me - perhaps a terrible 30 seconds instead if you've got so far as the login page and the login hangs.
I was looking at it.

Portal 7.1 was installed on Solaris in console mode with no errors. After installation it is possible to login correctly to /psconsole, /portal, but not to /amserver. When I login to /amserver, I am redirected again to Login page.

I tried to login with wrong username and password, but the captive portal redirects to this address -> https://[our controller ip]/cgi-bin/login?errmsg=Access%20denied that's not displaying anything but error page.
