I took my original portfolio site offline in July 2011 (and replaced with a temporary 'new website coming soon' etc) thinking it would motivate me to hurry up and get my new (responsive) website boxed off.

I agree with mlseim.
If someone in that industry wants to see your portfolio, give them the password.
Think you should include it on your "public" pages (or portfolio),
but create a portfolio page.

Domain Portfolio website. Hello All,
Just finished setting up a domain portfolio website for myself.
Did everything (html, Design, SEO , listings, description, htaccess etc...) in few hours, id say about 4-6 hours or so, with a lot of brain farts lol....
