I believe the point Billy makes is that salting the soil (which is what
chemical fertilizers are) is not a fine idea as it kills soil organisms.

synthetic while in past years it was a naturally occurring material .

3K + + PO 4 3- + NH 4 + + NO 3 - <=> 3K + + PO 4 3- + NH 4 + + NO 3 -
Pour moi il n' y a pas de réaction étant donné ...

Hi all,
I want to dose Potassium to keep the levels in the tank correct. The test kits out there are not the most user friendly and in my opinion not to accurate.
Obviously there is a risk to over dose anything, is Potassium lethal if slightly over dosed...

Apparently, strontium nitrate does not appear so basic in solution as
does potassium reaction as the Nitrate+aluminum incompatibility?
Also, are there any other nitrates that would nitrate, though ....

I have 0 nitrates. Is that a problem for my plants? They seem fine but they are a little discolored.
Thanks!

I get that they need potassium....
You do need to shake.
You want your nitrates between 5 and 10 ppm First, re-check: testing for nitrate can be tricky, follow the instructions.
You want to shoot for 5 to 10ppm nitrate minimum.
Somehow.
