I'm just curious....how many of you actually had to actively teach your kid to go on the potty after using diapers? I'm assuming that since the words "learning" and "training" are used that there is generally some sort of effort involved. I'm asking because...

Full on training? Probably.
Introducing the potty? No.
I potty trained my potty trained until he was 4.
I have found that potty training young has been much smoother than waiting.

He's potty training me.
We have "Stress Free Potty Training open the big toilet seat, patted it, looked at me and to,d me to pee pee.
McQueen toilet seat and (2) flushing the toilet.

I read somewhere that you should have 25-30 pairs of underwear when you potty train. Did you find that to be the case? I'm about to drop $60 on toddler undies.

Books about potty training and I encourage him to sit on the potty a couple times of day.
