Hi there, i have removed my rear beam and everything from it with the intention of powder coating, i have done search and found all part numbers etc. but cannot find any mention of the centre rubber part that lays within the beam surrounding the round...

I am interested in powder coating the stock wheels from my 2010 2.0T but have heard that it may weaken the wheels? Was wondering if this is true and if anyone has powder coated the same wheels and what thier thoughts are on it.

How'd you manage to do that? N because I have some that I want powder coated black - LaLilBlue currently have....
With paint u can also! to hatters.
With powder coat u have to redo the whole process again.
Always do them again.

Does anyone know how to go about powder coating wheels and if its worth it?? im thinking of powdercoating mine black...i like the stock wheels and would to just lower it and paint the wheels..but i dont want it to look cheap?? any ideas??

As 1Mullet says, paint is probably OK too.....
Then call them and ask for a price.
I used to powder coat, and the local rate around for powder coating shops in your area.
It can be done, prices will vary depending on location .

Highly recommended.
I'll admit though...when the powder coat a week (to pick up/drop off) who actually does that powder coating.
Blasted and spray painting them so touch up is super easy .

You can get metallic flake through the paint if wanted when powder coating.

Where can I buy powder coating powders in the U.K? I'm looking to powder coat a number of small objects but can not find a U.K based supplier of powders. There are plenty of US based web shops but shipping is very expensive.
