Just wondering if there is any hardware device that when it loses power, will send a remote signal to another power switch to turn off? This is more for media equipment, but I figured if anybody knew it would be here.

That's sometimes useful (because it means it's more likely that the code will do what you want if you select another object... .
If you record a macro in PowerPoint and examine the code, you'll see that it uses the Selection object for just about everything .

Honestly unless the switch is decently hefty, I wouldn't power something as power-hungry single-switch....
Issues are the wattage capacity of the cord, the power inlet (IEC socket), switch, and power outlet itself.
