I need a new power washer. My wife can't start a gas engine so I am looking at electric washers. Are they any good or do they wear our fast? I need it for deck, concrete, etc.

And of course....
Also make sure they don't draw more power than the circuit you have to plug in to.
The reason most pros don't use them is that power isn't always available.
If the power (psi) is what you need, they should work fine.

To make a long story short, I turned my old power washer on its side to run some PB Blaster in a frozen up quick connect fitting from the pump to the hose. I had to run to Lowes to buy the replacement and when I came back, engine oil was seeping out from...

Also the engine will probably....
Ya dont want carb cleaner getting into your nice new oil .
Just take out the spark plug and pull the engine over a few times .
You can skip the carb cleaner.
You should drain it and clean it to be safe rather than sorry .

Better to do the plug, filter and let it sit for a day or two and dry... .
Take out the spark plug, filter and turn it upside down to let any water drain or just let time evaporate the water .If you turn it upside down you have to worry about spilling gas .

I'm looking at 2600-3000 psi at 2.5-2.9 gpm. Somewhere in the $329.00-$499.00 range, I think. Most likely Honda powerd, but not set in stone.
I'd actually be more interested in problem models. Troybuilt had scathing reviews! I looked at Sears but the ...

Your it each year and the unit is now 8 years old .
Clean it and lube it with faucet washer grease available at plumbing supply stores and replace.
Just purchased a 3000 PSI Honda pressure washer from Costco, the only thing I don't like.
