Following on from Ravelling's thread for post oppers, thought I would start one for all of us waiting for our ops but not at the pre op diet stage yet (practise run if you like)

At a similar point to me although i mite be slightly ahead i am 1 week into my pre op diet and it is hardGood Luck.

I'm starting to feel lucky my Pre op diet is porridge and salad I don't think I could have done the milk one I hate the stuff I use it to wet cereal if you know what I mean ! Anyone else got an ok Pre op diet ? Is it down to the surgeon ?

Hi everyone, not sure if I'm posting in the right place.
I really looking forward to starting my pre op diet tomorrow. I'm due to have my op 2 weeks on Friday but wanted to get the diet going 2 weeks before I go in to hospital not 2 weeks before the op...

Different Docs have people do different things. What are YOU doing and when do you start?
My doc has said he only wants a shrunken liver from me since i have lost about 20 lbs since he saw me...

Well I have my surgery next Wednesday and cant wait - three days on milk diet n five lb down, not as tough going as I thought but I re lly hate milk lol xx

I am on day 2 today and just had my porridge
I was really good yesterday, apart from about 10pm when my husband had one of those fresh pouch meals from Asda, he left a few fork fulls of rice and veg, I ATE IT
