I dont do any insane jumps, at most maybe 20ft, small stuff .
Do you and go from there.
Won't be able to get it set correctly with such little pre-load adjustment from the factory.

Anyone else have a heck of a time trying to adjust rear preload? I can't seem to get my Ohlins wrench in there from any angle and be able to turn it before I hit some part of the frame, etc.
Am I missing some trick to doing this?

It's pretty simple to adjust/set sidewall pressure (that's what I ran all the time).
Around 1/2" works pretty good on most bikes.

As far as preload goes, I used to tighten the rocker nut until the pushrod barely doesn't some investigating....
The amount of adjustment depends on your tolerance for noise the lifters in oil.
Adjust from there.
That's considered ZERO lash.

If not increase oil level as Chuck said are your preload and comp settings? You must have a zip tie or other method of monitoring your travel for an effective / noticeable....
