Are there some things that people of different races are better at?
There are so many factors that it might be difficult to understand. The truth of the matter is that we are all human beings and all contain very, very similar DNA. This is why you will never find one race that dominates the ENTIRE sport. That being said, different environmental conditions over thousands of years have caused certain adaptations in differing populations. A good example is how people who live far away from the Equator, such as Eskimos, tend to be shorter and stockier built in order to preserve body heat. On the other side of the coin, people who live on the Equator, such as Africans, tend to be taller and there limbs longer in order to release body heat at a faster rate.
Populations that continue to reside in the areas of their ancestors will continue to produce those adaptations but as time goes on and cultures become more intertwined it will be interesting to see what goes on in terms of those adaptations mixing with each other. I am only a undergrad student so ponderings like that are yet to be explored by me.

Should English be the Official Language of the US?
Discourage making English official or else everybody will see the utility of learning it and we real English speakers will lose our economic advantage. I say let anyone use whatever language they want so we can keep the little brown people in the ghettos and out of the high-paying jobs that rightfully belong to us real English speakers.

Should Java break backwards compatibility in future versions for the benefit of a cleaner language?
Breaking compatibility would make sense if the JVM keeps the same. In that case the "new" Java would become a new, different language running on the JVM, such as those listed there . Fortunately, the way the JVM is designed guarantees interoperability between languages and versions, so I think the impact would be limited.

Difference between drop table and truncate table?
Drop gets rid of the table completely, removing the definition as well. Truncate empties the table but does not get rid of the definition.

The death of language?
China's Economy is booming and economic opportunities are plentiful. Whereas the rest of the world is reeling under the economic crisis, a creation of imperialist US, China has shown the way.
Thoughtful leadership of China has always recognized the impediment that numerous languages pose to maintaining social harmony which is a pre-requisite to maintaining steady growth rate and in this direction only a common language is being promoted as the official and only language of whole of China. There are minor hurdles but I hope very soon those minor resistance will vanish and Chinese language will become the first language of the whole of China. With a uniform language, the cultural diffrences will eventually vanish and we will see China usher into the position of superpower with resistance from Tibetans, Uyghurs and Mongols decimated forever.
Languages that fail to serve the purpose of promoting economic wellbeing and social harmony have to go, and there's little point in making a sad face about it. I would rather see only one language in China, known as Chinese Language.
