Suppose for whatever reason Roosevelt doesn't run for POTUS again in 1944, who would the Democrats pick, and who would win? Also, what affects would this have on World War Two and the post-war world?

There is no good way to make Roosevelt simply "step aside".
Debilitating to the point where he will be forced from office or to make Henry Wallace Acting President.
