So turns out a clutchnet 6 puk clutch can eat its way though a pressure plate and flywheel when you slip it alot daily driving through bumper to bumper traffic.

Just found this while looking through some 1956-1959 John Deere factory service bulletins. It is the proper procedure for adjusting the engine and steering clutch pressure plates. I have this gauge for sale if anyone needs one.

Lavoy Thanks the gauge is to adjust the pressure plate when it is first installed on the final drive.
Clutches If you mean setting the pressure plate fingers, this info is the same.

Well, I'm having my VHR clutch/flywheel installed soon and decided to remove the TOB from the pressure plate (long story) with the help of a video recently posted. During my attempts I somehow managed to break the metal housing that holds the TOB in place...

The manual for my truck says that when you attach the pressure plate to the flywheel, you should align the X on the pressure plate to the X on the flywheel. My problem is I have an X on the pressure plate, but there isn't one on the flywheel. I've looked...
