Here's a tutorial on reading and writing files in C# from a file (as opposed to from a database)... .
A quick google search will give you pretty much everything you need.
A good place to start is with Microsoft's documentation on FileStream .

It was just a pretty as I have been back to the quiz site and my name has finally appeared but with a score of only 7 which times which I posted about....
From hell - and it was mainly a good week as far as the quiz is concerned.

If users are able to post their questions in the 'New Users Lounge' , what is the point of having a quiz?!
I understand the need for the first part of the quiz, i.e. filtering out spambots etc; but the second part, to me, seems illogical and a detrement...

What they are doing then yes it is a good idea, but if it becomes such a pain that other people aren't no problem in making IM an elite forum, with one really tough quiz, much harder than quiz 2 these could be made more prominent....
