I would probably do this using rack middleware.
I think you need to make sure you call render_to_string first.
I've successfully used both render_to_string and render on the same request.

Get a desktop pc and upgrade it to play games .
If you are on a laptop, i dont suggest playing games on it .
Desktops: you need a decent one.
Laptops you cant get them easily.
You are missing a graphics card.

So if you're using controls that don't have a classic theme, they won't render.
render over RDP; it's smart enough to know when it can render in hardware, and when it can't it reverts the Classic theme.
