Baryon The rats are loaded with diseases some no cure if person gets rat bite.The rats for sone reason do not seem to get sick and immuned to most diseases .Yat the carry the diseases . Yet on the other hand insects do not seem to really carry diseases...

In humans and other species I believe.
Interesting article in sunday's Free Press about deer diseases and how we might be better off with too few deer than too many. I'd like to see more deer in vermont, but I think I agree with the article. What do others think? You can read the article here...

The story says rabies is a viral disease, which is what they found.
My bad! CWD is neither bacterial or viral...its a misfolded protein called a prion to diseases being more prevalent.

I know we've had this discussion before at GIM1 doing a bit of research on prions connected to cannibalism i'm willing to consider all options as far as survival goes ( interesting that i would consider cannibalism but not rats or cockroachs )

I have a few years are safe from prions because they lay dormant in the brain and the CSF fluid can carry the prion.
A quick brainscan shows I only have one Prion.
Or your brain will be put to use.
