I'm going to do my own digging over the next week or two, but thought I could glean the collective knowledge that is OT. For reasons beyond my control I won't be eligible for gov't funds until the spring and don't have enough saved to pay tuition/housing...

When should I apply for private student loans? I' start class in college next month for the summer session and I was wondering if i should take out student loans for this summer session as well as the fall semester all at one time or take out one loan...

Unless you have a private loan sourceyou apply for financial aid/students loans per academic year, that starts with the fall semester, you will not be able to get a student....
To apply now, as the normal application period ends June 30th .
