We usually do private pre-booked tours, usually cheaper, but on comparing prices notice that Thomsons tours seem to be cheaper. ie Appleton/Black River/YS Falls £77 each - Thomson same tour with private company $150 each (ie £100) Should I pre-book tours...

Own private tour and customized itinerary, as long as you are ok with the itinerary they have of one of the small, group tours or a private tour.
