I know it's not listed on the Hobie site as a kayak, but there are other kayaks longer and about as wide that are called kayaks. The Pro Angler has appeared in many "kayak fishing" articles, events, etc. and even givien away at the Jax Kayak Fishing Classic...

I use a piece of carpet especially when I load my yak onto my car to protect the rear of my yak even though they have small skid plates on either side .
Your not supposed to store the kayak with the wheels on .

The trolling motor and battery weighed over 100 lbs between them .
Check out the Hobie forum When I bought my PA (used) it had a wooden bar across the tank well and a salt water trolling motor and batter .
