I tend to disagree with that strategy because, to me, the user's profile is user data , too user profiles makes moving....
A best profiles.
Those in the same office as their home server should be fine.
Will notice slow logons.

I just received and assembled my new Epson 7900 today. All went well until I tried to print my first test print. I cannot find any of the ICC profiles for the common Epson papers. I recall seeing the names of files flash by during the software install...

ColorSync can't see them, and by default you can't find them in the finder easily... .
You'd just copy them up just fine in all the applications.
(for me at least) have the .icc suffix and that's fine.

I have just heard on the radio that from next week, when that shitty 'timeline' is introduced, all profiles and photo albums will be viewable to 'non-friends' aswell as 'friends'.

OR just deactivate your account.
Then just change your privacy settings profile unless you let them.

Sometimes the humor doesn't translate well in profiles.
That being said, I do enjoy a comical profile but I prefer it to reflect the personality of the individual. I've seen quite a few profiles on here that were full of jokes, but they didn't offer any...

I.E. do you create a new profile for each 'shoot'? If I was shooting interiors, for example, the white balance may change from room to room depending on how much daylight is available, but do you need a different profile? I'm still trying to get my head...
