Hi all,
looking for tips/recommendations regarding good watering holes in the D4 area, will be out there on Friday night (20/4).
we are 3 gentlemen of discerning taste and appreciate all (well most) of the meats that make up our cultural stew

Hi everybody! First post from a 'newb'.
Having lived here in Skegness for only three months I have to say I am getting very despondent about the lack of good real ale pubs in the area.
The Countryman in Ingoldmells is OK and some pubs do a decent pint...

Most pubs pay.
You don't need to and you can guarantee that any blues/rock pub gig different bands, to see if it has a local crowd, or only people brought by the bands.
It won’t get you any more gigs.

Avoid the Fullbrook, it's where the mighty SYC congregate.
No pubs
but The Saddlers Club next to the ground is very welcoming to fans aslong as they do not support Walsall.

What is everyones take on range of pubs in Skegness?

Overwhelmed by where to stay for 2 nights pre cruise in July of next year (planning ahead!!) We want to see all the main sights we can in 2 days and then we need to get down to Dover to get on a cruise ship. We would like to have pubs restaurants close...

Failing that, there's a decent Irish pub in temple bar with a small outdoor areaYou'll be poorly served when it comes to getting BBQ in pubs in Dublin.
Be worth looking into.
