Does anyone recommend getting car seat protectors for under the car seat?

I think it would help if the kid spills or pukes, but then again, it's not covering THAT much space and puke will hit the back seat and stuff before draining down...lovely thoughts at this point! I have leather seats....

Make sure you get a harness and leash for the cat .
There isn't really much you can do about in the washing machine, after he pukes on it.
If he gets car sick, get him a pet carrier or crate.

He is now 5 years old and if we are on super long rides like are still getting him use to the car....
Like 5 min in the car he would get sick.
Re: outgrowing car sickness my boy Jax ( jack russell terrier / pug mix ) was very bad as a pup.
Does anyone on here think chrome crates are worth the extra $$$? Viking is about to outgrow his 26" crate for the car but I don't want to pack up his 36" wire crate every time we go somewhere and I'm not sure if it's entirely safe and want something sturdier...

My wire kennels are low enough that I can load other .

I'm not talking "on" the car seat. I've got the cover off and in the wash - easy peasy. I'm talking IN the car seat. The straps are disgusting, it's in the button in the crotch, it's DISGUSTING. Can you actually take the belts out and wash them? If so...

Sounds much easier! HTH! I took mine, cover off, to the do it yourself car wash and blasted of styrafoam underneath It was so disgusting....
It luckily had a nylon cover that was easier to wipe off, but we just did with that .

The first thing that happened after he left mama was a 5 hour car ride home for him to willingly get....

Otherwise outside of "puke and rallies in his car....
It's an easy clean and otherwise comical story.
And then the kid behind us pukes all over his seat and ours and then I puke again! It was like that scene in Stand been this guy.
