I was watching the trailer for the CW's Arrow and he is using a moving pull up bar and I am curious as to if this pull up bar exists or if it was created for the show.

Since the chain is not secured, if you grab only one handle it will pull the other side.
Like Rogue's flying pullup bar looks like a safer alternative:

It's kind of more of a calisthenic that will train your lats or a risky move .
Granted, the kipping seems guide the body up more than pull.
Teaching about kipping pulls ups as opposed to the standard pull up.

You then wind the bar out until it touches the the edge inside each cap.
I have one, but I got it from Australia because to each side .
For the pull-up bar to rest on and support your weight.

So I am moving into a new apartment, but there isn't a gym close (small towns). I am going to build my own "home gym" (basically dumbbells with plates for bench press, shoulder press, rows, etc plus weighted push ups, dips etc. Not ideal, but should siffice...
