Can the pulley be replaced in situ or is it a pump off recharge job?

Here is another problem I just ran into. This AAZ came with A/C but now it will not be used. The serpentine belt now has no A/C pulley to wrap around so the belt is much shorter and will run into the water pump and double cross on to the tensioner pulley...

You are looking for an obd1 vr6 water pump pulley, then you can use the serp belt on it instead pump pulley, then you can use the serp belt on it instead of the v belt.

H.E.L.P! Water pump pulley just disintegrated. Hi Guys,

Is the evo 5 one the same? if so i think i have one in the shed earlyer evo models have a lip on the edge of the pullie and are thiner metal later are stronger no lip and are heavier as black car says 1 does have a lip on it, i am running a 1 piece timing... .

Took the pulley to the water pump rebuilding place and it is repairable so I think we should let that holds the pulley to the water pump shaft when they rebuilt the pump which caused excessive.
