Hey, I'm currently looking to get a pair of both punching mitts and thai pads for when I train outside gym hours.
What are the "best" mitts/pads out there right now? I tend to prefer the thai brands so any recommendations fairtex/boon/top king would be...

Title has a good budget mitt (the incredi-ball) for $30.
The Rival D3O Focus Mitts if you want one of the best (and most expensive) in the business but I'd stay away from their MMA/Muay Thai equipment.

I found the padding with the bag gloves....
I don't own the focus mitts, but do own a few other d3o technology.
Firstly, when you are HOLDING the mitts the impact is soaked upThat's interesting.

Make sure your not bending your wrist at all....
Constant repition on the heavy bag.
It's just something you build on if your first starting out it might hurt at first you just gotta push threw it .

Ok I train at a jkd concepts school(I'm not that into some of the jkd stuff) that has a good m.t. program with a number of good amature and pro m.t. fighters also the bjj & csw grapplers there do well in the bjj and sub grappling tournamnets so I think...
