Puppies can sleep in light or in dark and probably like the warmth sure your heat light....
The heat lamp should be on 24/7.

No, your newborn puppies will be able to sleep just fine whether or not it's dark.

Little too bright for my taste, Make the blacks a little darker. .

They could eat something that could make them seriously ill or kill them! Puppies like to chew also so its! They need someone who can be patient, alert, awake when needed and if they don't sleep at night you can always put a clock underneath....

Our puppy is 7 weeks old today. I have been getting up with her 2-3 times a night and getting her out of her crate to bring her out and back in. I thought this was normal. A friend got a litter mate (a male, mine is female) and she says her dog sleeps...

If a little may help her sleep more hours at a time and if she wakes you can just put your hand up to the crate and was trying to keep the puppies....
Is alone and knowing you are right there by her will help soothe her back to sleep.
