Third in the "Purple Elephant" series. This time I have a very simple bg instead of white. Color is off as the elephant is more pink and less dark blue and the shadows more pink and purple and not so dark in real...

8 x 10 on Arches CP 140 with WN paints, mostly Winsor blue (red shade) and quin magenta.
I think I'll leave the background white with this elephant also, and maybe just add some texture to the yellowish ground. Not quite decided yet.
I am shadow impaired...
