There are unarguably lots of advantages in using dvcs and it can be used like centralized vcs, but is having local commits and being able to very easily fork the project for some smaller group making it harder to support continuous integration? It helps...

Just did a 17 mile run yesturday in the snow. Wanted to go for 22 but my legs gave out. Could barely walk back.
But I got to thinking, which is harder? Running in the snow or sand? Also remember, when running in the snow ( well for me atleast) your socks...

If the user is surfing the site, won't that in effect be requesting information from the server that this notification can piggy-back on?
Because using a push requires library that groks server....
