Seriously, I tried setting up my one hotmail account to login directly to my inbox, and to this day, it still goes to the main page after with your specific issue.

Such clients "pull" email from a server, HTTPMail.
It is not possible to "push" email to a client, such as MS Outlook Express.

Can someone verify that the exchange servers from hotmail.com are not pushing the folders to the tablet (at the moment) when you do a new account setup (eg after factory reset of deleting your account).

In other words, you just have to keep the app open and not do anything else .
