Since what Im looking for falls into the Vintage SS catagory I thought this would be the place to ask.
I have been casually looking for a Quad receiver -or- a stand alone Quad decoder.

I do not car for quad much, but this receiver has some incredible detail and sound in 2 it sounds.

First quad music you heard, when and where. My 1st exposure was at a friends house who was into quality stereo's like 72-73, he has all marantz equipment, I remember seperate amp and tuner. One day I went to visit and he always was showing off his stuff...
