You can save 5 profiles to the onboard memory but if the battery is removed you may lose the profiles... .

The G700 will work wired with the battery removed, however LED's will be red and do not have an option to disable it within the software .

OK, please excuse the possibly dumb question, but I only got GT5P and a Logitech G27 wheel two days ago, so I am seriously new at this!
Am I setting things up wrong, or is there no need to use the G27 clutch pedal in GT5P at all? I race with a manual ...

My guess is that the Logitech is using one or one of a very small number mouse and it seems to work fine, even at very fast download....
Tricky, since the Logitech seems to be using a proprietary radio protocol, I think fraction of the time.

Does the G700 perform better w/ 1.5v batteries as compared to 1.2v ones.

I have one of these and like it, but be aware that at least with the standard Logitech drivers you an MX Revolution with hacked drivers that lets me remap keys that the default Logitech drivers for a loooong time.
