I am thinking of getting Quicken to track my portfolios, but was reading on a financial blog that Quicken is great, but Quicken for Mac is not good at all. So any input or advice on portfolio tracking for a Mac user would me much appreciated.

MAC apparently does not create or use .QDF file, but instead uses/creates .QDFM. I cannot find any way to get that file into my Windows Quicken. Online articles have been of no help. I hate to re-enter 10 years of data. I need help.

Hey, DonColorado, and welcome to the MN MacOSG Forums!
I'm a longtime Quicken for Mac to run Windows ....
I don't have and don't want to plan with the Windows app .
Up Quicken on Mac seems to continue to have a weak reputation.
