My RCI is paid till 2015 and will do getaways till the membership expires. Then go to plan B....

How is the RCI 1 in 4 rule enforced? I stayed at the Manhattan Club last year with RCI points. Looked at making a reservation this year. The acknowledgements note that it is subject to the 1 in 4 rule. However, it didn't appear that anything would stop...

Also, the ripoff ''hospitality fee'' MC charges on RCI exchanges is NOT charged on SFX exchanges? Generally, yes.
1-in-4 is an RCI rule and does not apply to SFX exchanges.
In With MC, you can also trade in through SFX .

There is an RCI-affiliated timeshare in Africa that I am interested in staying at. There doesn't seem to be much of a direct market for timeshare rentals from owners, but they are RCI-affiliated. Would there be a logical way to book this with RCI points...

I actually have some Wyndham Rewards (WR) points points for some ownership fees in RCI....
I didn't realize that RCI was part of the Wyndham Group.
You may rent a timeshare from Wyndham Endless Vacations - a sister company of RCI and part.

They have a lot of availability if your.
We stayed at the Grand Hyatt thru RCI and loved it.

This year, I've decided to deposit my Grand Pacific Carlsbad Seapointe summer weeks (July) into the Grand Pacific Rental program.

Dave I did use the rental program twice and both to deposit my week with RCI and I got 41 TPU which I think is worth more than the $ I got from having them for the rental income....
Resort, so this topic is especially interesting to me.
