Why couldn't you load a '58 Remington with 255gr .452 (.45Colt)cast bullets??

I have found a brass garden hoseWell, my 1972 Euroarms 1858 Remington-Beals has .446 diameter chambers, and I believe the .452 cast load a '58 Remington....
With my Remington 1858 NMA, and am getting geared up to make my own wads.

No lithium but rather old, very old NiMh, is this also a proper electric one??? My old remington set was great but after many years if service it finally gave up the ghost.
Battery life makes them corded rather than corded.

So i bought the Remington 1911 because it looked cool and i like my carry gun to be in style with my clothing choice for the day ... But anyway i got 100 rounds through it and it wont chamber a round with 8 in the magazine but with 7 it chambers fine....

I would place Remington at jeopardy around the mid 1970's as they went toward a variety of cost reduction efforts....
I saw a model 7400 during the early 1970's.
Rifles went way down in the 1980's when Remington started selling them at Wal-Mart.
