FYI they wont RMA a board with burn, it is about 5 years old and had no problem powering my previous system, which had the exact same hardware in it except for the new mobo....

Asus P7P55D LE motherboard (1207 BIOS)
650w Lian Li PSU
Windows 7 64-bit

Fixed on first RMA: Yes, NewEgg was able refund me months after my purchase to buy a Gigabyte.

Just a heads up, just in case any of you needs an RMA in europe, some shops collect boards before they send them to their distributor, who collects boards before he sends it to us :D
So RMA times can be quite lengthy depending...

Hello,
I have been told my GPU has been tested as clear from playing cysis for a few hours. I did explain on my RMA notes that gaming is no problem, it's when I watch videos/youtube once it's been on for a while.
So apparently a second test is underway...

I have been watching youtube videos from my mobo gpu and its, and as I said i'm using the onboard GPU on the mobo and everything works fine so it can't be the RAM drivers and re-install fresh....

How good is the Gigabyte RMA service? My 5850 has ****ed up (for the 100th time) again, however this time I'm sending to directly to Gigabyte and not the retailer. It's unusable outside of safemode. Does anyoen have any experience?

I just ordered my first Asus mobo i always went with gigabyte products then i read this post this.
My G74Sx to do so.
That sucks...I've had nothing about good luck with ASUS RMA.
