My first race of the season is on Sunday, and my new race bike got here today...I'm gonna get fitted and take it out for a spin...Is it ok to race it on Sunday? New bike is a 29HT and my other race bike is a 26FS...geometry is a bit different and more...

My experience from CX racing was, I got my CX bike 2 days before the first race (my first CX spin around on the bike prior to racing, i would race same day.
It is okay.

Let me rephrase this
Even If i dont get into racing, I absalutley know that I will go to track days, thus I want a seperate bike just for that, I'm only gonna take my street bike out there maybe once or twice.
Now;
I'm looking somehwere in the 600 range...

Racing bikes do not have fenders and a rack.
Offer $10 Racing bike pounds.
