Headers for rack and pinion on 69 Camaro
Just wondering if anyone has a 1st gen camaro with a rack and pinion and what headers they were able to install.
I would like to use long tube headers if i could...anybody have any luck with a specific set?

Hi just wondered if anyone has got the Kiley Clinton high ratio rack and pinion for there mk2? And if so what's it like and is it much quicker etc.

Im also in the market for some better shocks any suggestions? Doing have a leaky rack,....
Also, check inner and outter tie rods before you replace your rack and pinion, a lot cheaper than buying a whole new rack.

Problem #....
Even the rack won't work, it is the wrong length is too narrow for your frame.
Everything else is too light duty for a truck.
If it has 4 lugs the only things you might consider using for a truck is the spindles and the rack.

Rack and Pinion
My car has 31,000 miles and the steering feels sloppy. You have to steer it back to center and you have to steer it to keep it going straight. It's a Vega cross steer box. Straight axle on a TCI chassis.
Anyone have a rack and pinion installed...

A guy here locally put....
Rack and pinion has been done on straight the rack to the frame as the car bounces up and down it forces the spindle arms in and out the big things.
Luck occurs when preparation and opportunity converge.
